Product Description

Geranium essential oil is extracted from geranium, a plant about 60 centimeters tall, with pink flowers and pointed leaves with serrated tips. The essential oil is obtained by distilling the flowers and leaves. It smells slightly like roses, so it is often passed off as rose essence. However, upon closer inspection, the scent of geranium oil is somewhere between the sweetness of rose oil and the richness of bergamot oil. Its neutral nature makes it easy to mix with other essential oils, such as basil, bergamot, cedar, and clary mouse. Sage, Grapefruit, Lavender, Lime, Wild Orange and Rosemary essential oils are blended and used for diffusion.

Its main producing areas are Reunion Island in the southwest Indian Ocean near Madagascar, France, Morocco, and Spain. The essential oil appears yellow-green.

Geranium essential oil contains citronellol, citronellol formate, pinene, gallic acid, geraniol, terpineol, citral, menthone and various trace minerals. Its main function is to condition the skin. The active ingredients in geranium extract have a strong affinity with natural organic fats. Geranium essential oil is suitable for almost all skin conditions.
