Tetrandrine is one of the bisbenzylisoquinoline alkaloids extracted from the root of the tetrandrine, the content of which is about 1%. It is a bisbenzylisoquinoline alkaloid. Tetrandrine has negative inotropic effects on the heart, negative frequency effects and negative conduction effects, and reduces myocardial oxygen consumption.
