Watercress Extract, alias: watercress extract. Grass contains gluconasturtiin (gluconasturtiin) and vitamins A, 13, C, protein, fat, carbohydrates (glucose, sucrose, fructose), organic acids. It also contains volatile components: phenylpropanol. Watercress extract is sweet and slightly bitter, cold in nature, enters the lungs and bladder.

Its natural cooling sensation makes it ideal for after-sun gels, soothing toners, and refreshing mists at 1.0% to 2.0%, as well as men’s post-shave balms and toners at 0.5% to 1.5%. The extract is water-soluble, compatible with a wide range of cosmetic ingredients, and should be added during the cool-down phase (below 45°C) to preserve its active components. Stable within a pH range of 4.0 to 7.0, it offers formulators a natural, plant-based solution for developing effective and sensory-appealing skincare products for oily, combination, and blemish-prone skin types.
